Cunard Line and the world famous Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin have agreed to create an elegant Champagne Bar aboard Cunard’s brand new, $780-million flagship Queen Mary 2, which is currently under construction in France.

The new 64-seat venue will be Veuve Clicquot’s first and only venture on a cruise line. Located in the fashionable Mayfair Shops area of the ship, the Veuve Clicquot Bar will feature a variety of Champagne, as well as a menu including caviar and foie gras.

According to Cécile Bonnefond, president of Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin, “We’re delighted that the house of Veuve Clicquot will be featured aboard Cunard’s sensational Queen Mary 2. We have every confidence that the Veuve Clicquot Champagne Bar will be a superb addition to this great new liner.”
